Area Manager

Recently rated by Staffing Industry Analysts as the Best Staffing Firm to Work For in 2026, Accurate Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our staffing company in our Gurnee, Illinois/Pleasant Prairie market. The ideal candidate for the Area Manager position will have a proven track record of business development. The Area Manager will be responsible for all aspects of branch development, including establishing office space, creating procedures, hiring a team, and training them to be successful. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Located in Gurnee, Illinois and Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
  • $90,000 annually plus commission.
  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision.
Area Manager Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage start-up operations for new offices.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and development of an efficient and productive team.
  • Reviewing, developing, and implementing process improvements, departmental goals, and objectives.
  • Conducting process improvement meetings with customers to discuss pricing, service, and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to service new business while retaining valued customers.
  • Managing business within a proactive, quality-driven environment.
Area Manager Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience within the staffing industry.
  • Upper management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of professionals.
  • Skills necessary to negotiate pricing structures and agreements with clients.
  • Ability to manage current clients to maximize temporary usage.
  • An aptitude for foreseeing client's needs to ensure a prepared candidate pool.
  • Established skills in recruiting, interviewing, and managing personnel according to state and federal law.
  • An ability to interview, hire, and train all in-house personnel according to Accurate Personnel policy.
  • Willingness to perform frequent client visits and other networking functions.
