Job Description:
Technician supporting Chassis Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing by building, assembling, and maintaining hardware test stands for vehicle component validation. This role focuses on prototyping, machining, and electrical wiring to enable testing of chassis systems in non-vehicle environments. The position requires hands-on experience with wiring harnesses, fabrication, and Arduino-based hardware interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain chassis HiL test stands, including assembly of hardware and vehicle components
  • Perform prototyping tasks for non-vehicle test setups supporting chassis system validation
  • Fabricate test stand components through machining and mechanical assembly
  • Develop and install wiring harnesses and complete electrical wiring for test environments
  • Read, interpret, and create wiring schematics for hardware setups
  • Integrate Arduino-based systems for test stand control and data interfacing
  • Troubleshoot and repair test hardware to ensure reliable operation and uptime
