Performs routine aspects of architecture requiring knowledge and application of basic architectural principles under close supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy. Under general supervision, perform assignments of limited scope to produce designs that satisfy the requirements of building designs in accordance with applicable governing codes. This requires the application of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria where the scope is already outlined in the form of contract drawings, specifications, one-line drawings and component estimates derived during Austin's Step 1 process.
Requirements
• Requires a BS/BA degree in Architecture and typically 0 -1 years related experience.
• Architectural AXP preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Experience and working knowledge of current Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft office is strongly preferred.
• Experience with rendering software is a plus.
Travel Required
Yes, up to 10% by both air and ground travel as most projects are not local.
