Job description

Cripe has an opening for an Architectural Project Manager. Key responsibilities include project management throughout all phases from preliminary design through post-occupancy, planning and design, design team leadership, client and consultant coordination, budget, scope, and schedule compliance. Applicants should have a comprehensive understanding of design requirements, codes, standards, and current trends as it directs a project team of designers and outside consultants toward a deliverable product consistent with the highest level of industry standards.


The Project Manager has creative and strategic professional control over the deliverable to the client, requiring significant client contact, professional expertise, creative design input, strategic problem solving, and relationship management. This position is also responsible for all facets of project delivery to clients and as such is completely accountable for client satisfaction. The Project Manager is responsible for new business development within the assigned client relationship and coordinating with departmental directors to inform, manage and meet client service commitments.

Responsibilities include:

• Work in combination with departmental directors to coordinate, manage and ensure successful realization of project and client needs/expectations.
• Establish and execute comprehensive client service plan.
• Develop and serve your client relationships to ensure repeat business and cross selling opportunities.
• Uses understanding of a multitude of modalities and diagnostic approaches within planning, design, and construction process.
• Coordinates and interacts with team members, senior leadership, and stakeholders as well as external consultants - architects, engineers, and construction managers on projects of varying scope and scale.
• Coordinate proposals and contracts.
• Assist with project scope, conceptual design, and creative solutions.
• Project schedules/budgets/billing.
• Project problem solving/finding solutions.
