Job description

We are retiring the era of manual spreadsheets and fragmented data. Your mission is to lead the evolution of our facilitator intelligence and scheduling ecosystem. You will replace manual, Excel-based processes with a scalable, rules-driven platform, building live LMS integrations and executive-level visibility tools.
As the Lead Product Owner, you will own the Power BI and Power Platform stack, translating a high-level product roadmap into a technical reality that powers decision-making for our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Roadmap Execution: Translate the product roadmap into a manageable, prioritized backlog. You will own the Team Backlog, defining and accepting User Stories while ensuring alignment across Epics and Features.
- Architectural Ownership: Lead the design and implementation of a unified facilitator intelligence profile system (tracking qualifications, utilization, and performance).
- Ecosystem Management: Own the end-to-end Power BI/Power Platform stack, including data models, paginated reports, governance, and row-level security.
- Agile Leadership: Champion delivery through the Five Levels of Agile Planning (Vision, Roadmap, Release, Sprint, and Daily plans). Coordinate with Scrum Masters and Product Managers during PI Planning and Sprint cycles.
- Stakeholder & Mentorship: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for external partners and a mentor for junior Product Owners, cultivating an Agile mindset and technical excellence across the team.
Technical Core Experience:
- Data Expertise: 5+ years in Data Science, Analytics Engineering, or Applied ML with a track record of building operational tools.
- Power BI Mastery: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with DAX, Power Query (M), performance tuning, and the Power BI REST API.
- The Stack: Proficient in the Power Platform (Canvas/Model-driven apps, Power Automate) and modern data pipelines (Python + dbt, Airflow, or Prefect).
- Backend Strength: Strong SQL skills and experience with both normalized and star schemas. Comfortable in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Domain Knowledge:
- Optimization: Experience with scheduling optimization or workforce planning (ILP/CP, heuristics, or rules-based systems).
- Integrations: Proven ability to integrate enterprise systems such as LMS (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday), HRIS, or ERPs.
- Operations: Familiarity with training/learning ops or high-stakes field operations environments.
Leadership & Certification:
- Expertise in Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Relevant Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power Platform App Maker) are highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex data "stories" to executive audiences through high-impact dashboarding. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
