We are looking for an experienced Lead Cabinet Finisher to oversee and perform high-quality finishing work on custom cabinetry and millwork. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and leading by example.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the cabinet finishing department and coordinate daily workflow.
  • Prepare, sand, stain, paint, and apply clear finishes to custom cabinetry and millwork.
  • Match colors and stains to customer specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure exceptional quality standards.
  • Train and mentor finishing team members.
  • Maintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and work areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
  • Work closely with production to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cabinet or architectural millwork finishing experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of stains, paints, lacquers, conversion varnishes, and spray finishing techniques.
  • Ability to color match and produce consistent, high-quality finishes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
