Building Materials Outside Sales Representative - Glass Products, Commercial Doors & Windows
Sky Building Materials is a thriving distributor of commercial glass and aluminum products, currently expanding operations into Northeast Oklahoma. We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our presence in Oklahoma.
Compensation: $70,000 base annual salary + 0.5% commission on gross sales. Territory sales potential is estimated at $10M+ annually; actual earnings will depend on the business you develop. We will provide training, qualified leads, marketing materials, and a book of business from our existing clientele.
Perks: Your own private office. The company provided a laptop and a cellphone. Mileage and fuel reimbursement. 2 weeks PTO for salaried employees and 1 week for hourly paid employees. We also offer health benefits after 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
• Prospecting and developing relationships with Fabricators, Glazing Companies, General Contractors, and Developers across the South Central/Midwest and surrounding markets.
• Tracking commercial and residential projects from the bidding stage through close.
• Helping clients select appropriate architectural glass products, storefront systems, and curtain walls for their projects.
• Coordinating with our production and logistics teams to make sure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Representing Sky Building Materials professionally at job sites and client offices throughout the territory.
Qualifications
• Experience in B2B sales, particularly within the manufacturing or building materials industry.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Fabricators, Glazing Companies, and General Contractors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing sales territories and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of architectural glass products, storefront systems, and curtain walls.
• Ability to track and manage projects from the bidding stage through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively represent our company.
• Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client relationships and sales processes.
