The program typically involves both theoretical learning and practical design exercises to prepare for professional licensure.

What is an architect student?

An Architect Student job is a position for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in architecture. It typically involves assisting architects with drafting, research, model-making, and project documentation. This role helps students gain hands-on experience with design software, building codes, and architectural workflows. Architect students often work in firms or internships to develop their skills and fulfill academic or licensing requirements.

What jobs can you get if you study architecture?

An architecture student can pursue careers such as licensed architect, urban planner, landscape architect, interior designer, or construction manager. As an Architect Student, your daily tasks often include participating in design studios, developing conceptual drawings, creating physical or digital models, and conducting research for ongoing projects. During internships, you'll likely assist with drafting plans, preparing presentations, attending site visits, and collaborating with both senior architects and other students. Attention to detail, strong time management, teamwork, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in this role. These competencies are essential for excelling in coursework, project collaborations, and developing the practical abilities required for a future career in architecture.
