Job description

Job Title: Field Services Architect (FSA-DM)
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Job Duties: Work with customers to determine requirement for their building projects in the aquaculture industry. Prepare proposal for customer including those for design services, construction supervision or post construction inspections. Design building projects in accordance with customers requirements, including detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure. Directing staff in the development of project drawings and studies. Preparation of detailed estimates for complex projects which includes requesting and analyzing quotes received from suppliers and integration of all this information in proposals for customers. Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done in accordance with its design and construction drawings. Manage relationship with customers and internal parties, including other designers, drafting personnel, finance, manufacturing and procurement and logistics. Travel to various locations in USA, Canada and Mexico for approximately 50% of the time.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related, or foreign degree equivalent. 24 months of experience as Industrial designer or related, including 24 months of experience in the design and management of marine fish hatcheries. 24 months of experience assessing water quality and determining treatment plans. 24 months of experience with water treatment equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.
