Architect insurance is a specialized type of professional liability insurance designed to protect architects from claims alleging errors, omissions, or negligence in their professional services. This coverage helps safeguard architects against legal costs and damages that may arise if a client alleges that a design flaw or mistake resulted in financial loss or property damage. In addition to professional liability, architect insurance may also include general liability, workers' compensation, and business property coverage, depending on the needs of the firm. Having this insurance is often required by clients and industry regulations to ensure both parties are protected throughout a project.
