Job Summary:
Confidential company is seeking an experienced Majesco Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise insurance solutions using the Majesco platform. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and clients to define scalable, high-performance, and compliant solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end solution design for Majesco-based implementations
• Architect solutions across Policy Administration, Billing Systems, Claims Management
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Translate business needs into technical architecture
• Present solutions to clients, leadership, and architecture boards
• Define integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, Messaging systems, Middleware platforms
• Design data models and data exchange strategies across systems
• Provide technical leadership to development teams
• Review code, configuration, and design artifacts
• Ensure adherence to Majesco product standards and best practices
• Drive configuration within Majesco applications
• Minimize customizations and promote use of out-of-the-box features
• Ensure optimal use of Majesco framework capabilities
• Establish architecture standards, guidelines, and templates
• Conduct architecture reviews and solution validation
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of IT experience with strong exposure to insurance domain
• 5 years of experience working with Majesco products or similar platforms
• Handson experience with Majesco Policy, Billing, Claims
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE technologies
• Microservices architecture
• REST, SOAP APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of integration tools eg MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka
• Strong understanding of Policy lifecycle (quote, bind, issue, renew)
• Underwriting processes
• Billing and claims workflows
• Experience in PC, Life, or Health Insurance
• Enterprise architecture frameworks
• Data modeling and system integration
• Performance tuning and scalability design
• API design and governance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and clients
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Problemsolving and decisionmaking mindset
Preferred:
• Prior experience with digital transformation programs in insurance
• Exposure to Agile, SAFe delivery models
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CICD pipelines
• Certifications in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• TOGAF or other architecture frameworks
