TalentSphere has partnered with a well established and award winning Architecture Firm with an office in Calgary to assist them in finding a high level Architectural Technologist to join their talented team. This firm have an excellent reputation for high-end and unique design and have an excellent portfolio of work encompassing both large scale developments as well as small, unique projects across commercial, hospitality, public, civic and other work. This firm are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity to join their collaborative team as they continue to produce award winning projects and provide excellent service delivery to their clients.
THE JOB
This role would suit a well rounded architectural technologist comfortable to work on all phases of production including detailing. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for great design wor. The role will have you giving input into design development, production, detailing, construction documents, development permits, submittals and tender, city liaison, technical project management and assisting junior staff. You will be involved in a variety of projects across different sectors, both small and large.
WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will possess robust technical skills and be well versed in working with mid to large sized multi-family developments, mixed use projects, some commercial work and other project experience is an asset. You will be capable of working independently and responsible for project management and seeing projects through from schematic design through to completion.
Technical skills must include designing details, drawing details, producing full working drawing packages and construction documents and development permits. In additional to good technical you must have strong Revit skills. Ideally you will have between 6 and 20 years of combined industry experience. Along with providing excellent service delivery on projects, strong written and verbal communication skills will accompany your dedicated work ethic.
