Role : BIM Modeler – Electrical

Location: Chandler, AZ

Work Arrangement: On-site

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire


Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to support electrical design, drafting, and fabrication-level 3D modeling for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Revit Electrical and experience coordinating models with multiple engineering disciplines and construction teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform design, drafting, and fabrication-level 3D electrical modeling using Revit.
  • Develop detailed electrical systems, including conduits, fittings, equipment, and related components.
  • Create electrical designs in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to ensure accurate 3D BIM coordination.
  • Coordinate electrical models with structural, mechanical, architectural, and other disciplines.
  • Interface with construction trades to address field conditions and installation requirements.
  • Conduct regular field walks to review installation progress and ensure alignment with fabrication models.
  • Identify and resolve modeling, coordination, and constructability issues.
  • Support BIM standards, templates, and modeling workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project models throughout the project lifecycle.


Required Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Revit Electrical modeling.
  • Strong understanding of electrical system components, including:
  • Conduit
  • Fittings
  • Electrical equipment
  • Cable trays and related systems
  • Experience designing/modeling electrical systems for industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of BIM and 3D coordination processes.
