Client : ATM Machine Manufacturing Industry
Duration : 1-Year Contract Role
Location : North Canton, OH 44720
Shift : 1st shift 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Description:
Position Summary:
  • This individual plans, writes, illustrates, and releases assigned documents (following the published standards) working with Product Management, Technical Writers, Design Engineers and Service Engineers.

Essential Functions:
  • Applies existing education and work skills to the development and support of Technical Documents for hardware products. Specific duties include:
  • Researches, writes, distributes document drafts for review.
  • Attends product meetings, as required.
  • Provides scheduled status reports, as required.
  • Develops technical illustrators, as required.
  • Prepares illustrations for technical publications and desktops using current methods and tools.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • An associate's degree in English, Technical Writing, Journalism or Engineering.
  • A minimum of four years' experience as a technical writer.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills:
  • Background or training in Electronics or Electromechanical Technology.
  • Experience in using Arbortext XML editor is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in using ST4 editor is a plus but not required.
  • Working knowledge in using Visio, Isodraw, CorelDraw, and Photoshop is a plus but not required
