Insurance Litigation Special Counsel
New York, NY
Salary: $260,000-$300,000 + Bonus & Full Benefits

What You'll Do
  • Take the lead on complex litigation and arbitration matters, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance disputes
  • Craft compelling, strategic briefs and legal submissions
  • Prepare fact and expert witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial
  • Own key phases of litigation from discovery through trial or arbitration
  • Partner with colleagues across teams to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in insurance litigation
  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active admission to the New York Bar
  • Exposure to arbitration (preferred, not required)
  • Background in insurance or reinsurance disputes
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Poise and professionalism in high-stakes client environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative mindset and team-first attitude
