What we're looking for:

The Commercial Excellence Supervisor supports the commercial organization by driving sales performance, improving processes, and achieving short and long term contribution margin targets. The role leads and develops the Commercial Excellence team, setting clear KPIs, strengthening Salesforce capabilities, and fostering data driven decision making to improve team effectiveness. Through strong team leadership and cross functional collaboration, this position enables customer expansion, lead generation, and sustained sales growth.

Sales Intelligence & Data Analytics

Collect and analyze sales and market data from various internal and external sources (CRM systems, social media, industry databases).

Identify patterns, trends, and risks related to revenue, pipeline health, and customer behaviors.

Deliver actionable insights to the commercial team to improve decision-making and drive growth.

Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

Lead & Opportunity Generation

Identify and qualify new business opportunities by analyzing internal and external market data, historical purchasing behavior, and industry trends.

Continuously feed high-quality leads into the CRM system to support opportunity pipeline growth.

Collaborate with Account Managers to align opportunity generation with customer strategies and market segmentation.

Analyze customer purchases across different geographies to uncover cross-regional business opportunities and synergies.

Highlight underpenetrated accounts based on sales activity in other regions.

Monitor and report on opportunity progression within Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-up and effective sales funnel management.

Track lead-to-deal conversion rates and recommend actions to improve effectiveness

KPIs Tracking & Performance Monitoring

  • Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators such as:

    • Project Pipeline Potential & Conversion Rate (NSD/NPD)

    • Customer Base Diversification (Tier 1 vs Tier 2&3)

    • Lost Business Tracker

    • Customer Retention and Turnover

    • Customer Service - Order Accuracy and etc.

    • Customer Complaints (NCRs) - Product & Services

  • Provide visibility and insights to leadership for performance reviews and strategy adjustment.

Commercial Excellence & Transformation Initiatives

Support the roll out and track the progress of initiatives related to the BCG Commercial Excellence project & Sales Governance activities (Account Plans, Etc.)

Report on key Transformation NSD's, Working Capital - AR Improvements, etc.)

Strategic & Digital Sales Initiatives

Lead or support special Sales & Customer Service related projects such as Project INTEGRITY, Salesforce CRM implementation, IMPAX utilization, AI/MS CO Pilot applied to Sales, and digital enablement.

Support the enhancement of CRM adoption, data quality, and reporting structure.

Support to Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSS) validating questions, customers to be surveyed and resulting actions plan

Sales Team Support & Enablement

Account Plans development and execution tracking

Sales Meetings and Sales Awards coordination

Ad-hoc reports and insights to support sales strategy execution

Define clear goals, lead and motivate the Commercial Excellence team, providing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure they deliver on their targets and support the Commercial Team.

Education / Experience / Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years in a commercial analysis, sales operations, or business intelligence role. Experience in the chemical or B2B industrial sector is a plus.

Specific Skills and Knowledge

Proficiency with data tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate into business actions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer facing experience and roles preferred.

  • Proven ability to work with external customers in order to deescalate issues that arise and ensure ease of doing business for both Indorama Ventures and the customers.
