Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior BMC Helix Developer / Identity Management Consultant to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in the development, enhancement, integration, administration, and support of its enterprise BMC Helix IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. The environment includes multiple Helix modules supporting enterprise service management, Identity Management, and custom applications built on the BMC Action Request (AR) System.

The consultant will play a key role in planning, design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Identity Management capabilities while supporting enterprise integrations with internal and cloud-based systems. This role requires extensive experience with BMC Helix technologies, workflow development, application customization, system integrations, documentation, testing, and production support.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities

·        Design, develop, customize, and support BMC Helix ITSM and AR System-based Identity Management solutions.

·        Develop applications, workflows, and integrations using BMC Helix Innovation Studio and AR System.

·        Configure and support BMC Helix Smart IT, Digital Workplace Advanced, and Digital Workplace Catalog.

·        Develop and maintain integrations with internal and cloud-based systems using REST APIs, LDAP/Active Directory, JDBC, Pentaho Spoon, and SQL technologies.

·        Perform application configuration, customization, testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support.

·        Create technical documentation, solution designs, implementation plans, and user training materials.

·        Participate in project planning, task management, and Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS) development.

·        Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.

·        Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

Position Requirements

·        Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, and supporting BMC Helix ITSM and AR System solutions.

·        Experience developing applications using BMC Helix Innovation Studio.

·        Experience implementing Identity Management solutions and enterprise system integrations.

·        Experience working in BMC Helix SaaS environments.
