Looking for our diamond (in the night)! Advanced Professional Security (APS) is looking for a new dedicated team member(s) for our premier clients in Scottsdale to serve as their Concierge Security. This individual can positively balance the demands of security and customer service by ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. APS has 18 years of experience in providing premier security services to ensure the safety, security, and peace of mind that our clients and customers come to expect and know.
Unarmed Concierge Security Guard (052201)
Our ideal candidate is observant, composed under pressure, professional in appearance and behavior, has unwavering integrity, and self-discipline while possessing strong written and verbal communication skills. Our clients and their guests expect nothing less than the best from APS and we are looking to deliver them to ensure the safety of residents, their guests, and visitors.
Essential Functions and Responsibility
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify identities, issue passes, and maintain logs to ensure unauthorized individuals do not gain entry.
  • Actively observe CCTV cameras ensuring a complete understanding of systems.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol designated areas to detect and deter potential security breaches.
  • Follow established protocols, respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Provide assistance to residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and other security personnel to coordinate efforts and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Make immediate emergency notifications as necessary when confronted with creditable information.
  • Maintain a command presence while appearing on post in accordance with uniform and PPE standards (as needed for individual assignment).
  • Remain knowledgeable of security orders, directives, and procedures at all times.
  • Provide directions as necessary.
  • Other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in English written or oral form as well as speak and comprehend English without translation.
  • Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance.
  • Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an nArizona Guard Card
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 10-hours, lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Already be located in or near the Scottsdale area

  • This position can fill a full-time position or two part-time positions depending on desire:
    • Thursday 0100 - 0700 or 2000 - 0700 (1A - 7A or 8P - 7A)
    • Friday 2000 - 0700 (8P - 7A)
    • Saturday 1900 - 0700 (7P - 7A)
