Supplier Quality Engineering Program Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Program Manager to lead supplier quality activities for new product development programs and drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Service, Marketing, and Supplier Quality teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for program execution, APQP governance, risk management, supplier quality performance, and leadership reporting while ensuring successful delivery of quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage supplier quality activities throughout product development and launch programs.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor project schedules, milestones, KPIs, risks, scope, tooling, quality, and cost metrics.
  • Partner closely with Procurement Program Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • Drive APQP, PPAP, and stage-gate (HPPD) processes while ensuring supplier readiness and compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments, create mitigation plans, and manage issue resolution to minimize program impact.
  • Coordinate monthly supplier quality reviews with SQE managers and engineering teams.
  • Provide program status updates, KPI dashboards, and executive-level presentations to senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously, ranging from small-scale initiatives to large complex projects.
  • Collaborate with domestic and global suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive supplier quality excellence across the supply chain.
  • Support change management, decision-making, and problem-solving activities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • Strong Supply Chain Management and Supplier Quality experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex product development programs.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Supplier Quality, Engineering Drawings, and Specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in risk management, KPI reporting, program governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
