Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking an Apptio System Administrator to oversee the design of the Apptio platform and manage IT Allocation business requirements. The role involves collaborating with client and vendor tech leads, developing user interfaces, and supporting critical finance functions within the IT Allocation Operations team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Apptio design with responsibility of the IT Allocation business requirements.
• Understand Client Budget and Month End Close processes and system impact.
• Assist in testing and roll out of Apptio platform.
• Support Critical finance functions within IT Allocation Operations team.
• Partner with Client and Vendor Tech Leads for integration design, testing and support.
• Participate and lead in the design, development, and implementation of the Apptio Model, Architecture and Data across Cost Pools, Towers, Services and Bills of IT.
• Build effective User Interfaces that are simple, yet powerful allowing end users to drill down into data and gather insights into their IT related costs.
• Support the CFO-SIT group with the execution of the strategic roadmap.
• Develop reports for stakeholders based on user requirements.
• Support the team in day-to-day operational activities, support, enhancements.
• Manage onsite-offshore coordination.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Apptio development and design is required.
• Minimum five years of recent experience as an Apptio System Administrator, Apptio Design Lead and executing custom solution in Apptio TBM Studios.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven industry experience in business management, information technology and/or financial services industries, management accounting and computer application systems.
• Software Deployment/Development experience, working collaboratively with multiple admins & existing processes in the system.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage and application development.
• High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
