About the Role
The Driver will be responsible for picking up wheelchair patients or stretcher patients using a fully loaded vehicle equipped for wheelchairs or stretchers and a GPS system. This position may work independently or with another teammate based on driving assignments.
What You'll Do
  • Independently run medical transportation operations in a company vehicle
  • Ensure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service and returned home safely.
  • Utilize company transportation software
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
  • Assume on-call responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with leadership
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness

Qualifications
  • Valid State Driver's license required
  • 3 years of professional driving experience required
  • Clean driving record (No more than 1 point)
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug test and health screening which includes alcohol, TB skin test and/or TB chest x-ray
  • Ability to pass a physical agility test
  • Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds
  • Fluency in speaking and understanding English, strong communication skills
  • Ability to drive to various locations
  • Professionalism
  • Ability to use apps and electronic devices

Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual language ability preferred
  • Previous wheelchair transport experience

Final pay rate is determined based on qualifications, experience, and performance, at the employer's discretion.
