Job description

Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/Mobile Paramedical Examiner.
APPS Paramedical Service works with Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, EMTs, STNAs, LPNs, Paramedics, or Lab Technicians to perform mobile insurance physicals on clients who are applying for new life insurance policies. Perfect for someone looking for part-time income, recent retirees.
We are looking for paramedical examiners throughout Central Ohio, including Franklin, Muskingum, Perry, Morgan, Coshocton, Knox, Licking, Guernsey, Fairfield, Ross, Pike, and various other counties:
  • Do you like the flexibility to control your schedule?
  • Do you enjoy drawing blood? Are you a skilled phlebotomist?
  • Would you want the freedom to control your own schedule?
  • Are you comfortable talking to people on the phone and visiting applicants in their homes or offices?
  • If so, then you may enjoy the paramedical industry!

Duties:
  • As an examiner, you will go to a client's home or office to collect their medical history.
  • Obtain their vital signs, draw blood (and urine) specimens, and occasionally perform EKGs.
  • You work from your home and connect with us daily through our website and email.

Requirements:
  • You must have 1 year of Venipuncture experience and undergo a background check.
  • Have your own automobile with insurance coverage, and have a tablet or laptop computer, and a printer.
  • You should have the ability to manage your time well and be able to handle a variety of client situations.
  • Exams will be assigned to you around your geographic location to minimize drive time.

Note: APPS Paramedical Service advocates a no-smoking policy.
