Position Overview:
As an Industrial Youth Apprentice located at our Brookfield, WI Tool & Die Plant, you will join a dynamic team with a winning culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently across various aspects of Tool & Die Manufacturing which support multiple foundry operations including high pressure diecast, lost foam, and investment casting plants.

Essential Functions:
  • Work safely and efficiently in a tool & die shop environment especially when it comes to industrial safety best practices

  • Operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, and other tool shop equipment

  • Generate 3D CAD models and blueprints for various projects

  • Perform disassembly, final assembly, and outbound tooling inspections

  • Inspect and precision measure in-process tooling and components to meet print specifications

  • Accurately plan and track time for specific work orders

  • Follow all Youth Apprentice State Program Guidelines

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a high school student enrolled in the WI Youth Apprenticeship Program

  • A growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve

  • Desire to be "hands on" and learn the Tool & Die trade

Working Conditions:
  • Climate controlled Tool & Die shop Environment

  • 1st or 2nd shift Opportunities

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18-20 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
