Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate):

  • $20 / hr
    • Based on experience, certifications, and skill level
  • Tenure Bonus Program*:
    • Starting at 6 months, earn up to $3.50/hour on every flat-rate hour turned
    • Bonus increases with tenure and is paid annually
Job Description

The Apprentice Technician supports the service team by performing minor repairs, routine maintenance, and hands-on learning under the guidance of an assigned Master Technician mentor.
This role is designed to build the foundational skills and experience needed to advance into a flat-rate technician position. OEM training and on-the-job mentorship are provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a Master Technician mentor to learn dealership procedures and technical skills
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs as outlined on repair orders
  • Assist with vehicle inspections to identify any additional service needs
  • Learn to diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs under supervision
  • Complete required OEM online training as part of the apprentice curriculum
  • Request guidance as needed and maintain an active learning mindset
Qualifications
  • Completion of an automotive technology program (e.g., UTI, WyoTech, or similar) preferred
  • Ability to work full-time and maintain reliable attendance
  • Previous shop or dealership experience 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and dealership guidelines
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check, MVR, and drug screening.
