Salesforce Developer (VP)

About This Role

We're looking for a talented, hands-on, self-driven integrations developer to join a strong growing Salesforce technology team. In this role you will be responsible to design and implement solutions within the Salesforce platform, with a focus to build custom reusable web components and integrations. You will serve as a lead in a multi-functional team that addresses strategic business initiatives involving customer relationship management, client onboarding, investment operations and servicing workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.

  • Develop, and implement custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) on the client-side and leveraging object-oriented design principles and best practices for back-end.

  • Create and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and other Salesforce development artifacts.

  • Customize and extend standard Salesforce functionality to meet unique business needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for our Salesforce end users while identifying any root cause problems to prevent future issues.

  • Design and implement solutions based on user stories using all available tooling within the Salesforce platform, with a focus on building/enhancing Lightning Web Components and integrations

  • Build and maintain code, customizations, and custom REST endpoints in multiple Salesforce orgs

  • Be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using APEX, Aura Lightning Platform (AURA, LWC framework), JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS, SOAP / REST Webservices

  • Build a robust source code, integration, and deployment environment, with familiarity to metadata API, ANT migration, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Jenkins and Bitbucket

  • Participate and contribute actively to build towards event-based integration architecture

  • Write maintainable code with appropriate test coverage, maturing to a professional software engineering environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field

  • Salesforce Certified (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript)

  • 2+ years of experience with SF Command Line tooling, Git, and VS Code

  • 2+ years of experience with Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies

  • 2+ years of Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a focus on Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • 3+ years of experience and strong proficiency in object-oriented design principles and hands-on experience in applying them to Salesforce development.

  • AWS/Azure resource integration skills (+)

  • Experience working with / in financial services (+)

For SF4-San Francisco - 400 Howard Street and NY7 - 50 Hudson Yards, New York Only the salary range for this position is USD$162,000.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
