Job description

Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a skilled Heavy Structure Sheet Metal Mechanic to join their team immediately. They offer the highest non-taxable per diem in the market, including on overtime, unlimited hours, and provide a toolbox and the tools required for the job. This is a contractor position located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in Commercial MRO is essential.
  • Proficiency in SRM repair and skin repair/replacement.
  • Ability to perform floor beam, frame, stringer, and seat track repairs.
  • Experience working on 737/767/Airbus is preferred.
  • Strong focus on heavy structure sheet metal work, not assembly.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and/or Powerplant License preferred.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or two years of related commercial/military aircraft experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in fundamental maintenance operations and practices.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements per FAR 65.
