Description
 Kennedy Mechanical is currently looking to hire multiple Plumber Apprentices. Kennedy Mechanical is a well-established company in Rochester, NY and growing. Interested candidates should have knowledge of basic hand tools, no previous experience is necessary. Plumber apprentice position will include on the job training with opportunity for long-term growth. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday, day shift.

Qualifications:
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Self-motivated
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:
  • Tasks include Lifting, Digging, Climbing Ladders, and Entering Small or Confined Spaces
  • Ability to Lift, Pull, Carry, Push up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks which may include overhead or awkward positioning

Job type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18-$25/hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist commercial plumbers with installation of plumbing systems
  • Work individually and as part of a crew
  • Utilization of hand tools
  • Assist with installation of components including, but not limited to fixtures, faucets, water heaters, pump systems and accessories, valves, sanitary, storm, water and gas piping systems
  • Site clean-up as needed
