About the Role:

As a Pipefitter , you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems that are essential for the operation of our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all piping systems are functioning efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations. You will work closely with engineers and other tradespeople to interpret blueprints and specifications, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise in the piping systems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the reliability and safety of our operations, making you an integral part of our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
• NO PER DIEM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in pipefitting or related field.
• Experience with specialized piping systems, such as HVAC or industrial piping.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and other tradespeople to design and implement new piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. You will utilize your problem-solving skills daily to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in piping systems, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and regulations.
