Job description

DC Fabricators is seeking a talented NDT Inspector to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in Florence, NJ.
At DCF, you’ll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Whether you’re driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you’ll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!
Essential Duties of the NDT Inspector:
• Perform dimensional inspections on parts, assemblies, and fabrications in accordance with drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
• Set up and conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and gauges.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) including setup and execution of methods such as Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), Visual Testing (VT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) as applicable.
• Record inspection results and determine disposition of inspected components.
• Work with customer representatives to support required inspection hold points and quality verification.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for all inspections performed.
• Conduct material identification surveillance in the shop and storage areas, ensuring proper segregation of materials.
• Support receiving inspection activities to ensure incoming materials meet all specifications and requirements.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education amp; Skills Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in NDT or dimensional inspection preferred.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Minimum two (2) years of NDT and/or dimensional inspection experience in an industrial or machine shop environment required.
• Additional quality inspection experience preferred.
• Fabrication or weld inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills including working knowledge of ERP systems and email systems required.
• US Citizenship required at time of hire.
