Position Description
Assist Plumber Journeymen and Apprentices in performing duties as directed by supervisor, to include training in shop fabrication processes and job site installations within union contract.
? โ€ข Assist in fabrication and installation of plumbing products and systems
โ€ข Work with journeymen and apprentices to construct fabrications from drawings
โ€ข Assist in cutting, measuring and assembling products
โ€ข Deliver material to job sites
โ€ข Assist in the loading, unloading, and organized storage of materials
โ€ข Maintain a LEAN working environment
โ€ข Drill/Core wall and floor penetrations for plumbing installation
โ€ข Assist in demolition of existing plumbing systems
โ€ข Create trenches and openings for installation of drain systems
โ€ข Other duties may be assigned in accordance with the local union bargaining agreement
Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent GED
โ€ข Ability to work with mathematical concepts
โ€ข Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
โ€ข Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl
โ€ข Conscientious and safety-minded attitude
โ€ข Valid driver's license with good driving record
