Role Summary
The Pilates Mat & Apprentice Instructor introduces members to mindful movement and body awareness through mat and reformer Pilates infusing barre-style formats. This role builds teaching confidence, class management skills, and alignment with Club Pilates brand standards supporting members transitioning into reformer-based classes.
Scope of Teaching
  • Mat Pilates
  • Intro-level Pilates concepts
  • Beginner Reformer Flow (shadowing / apprentice-teaching as applicable)
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Pilates fundamentals with emphasis on alignment and breath
  • Reinforce safety, setup, and equipment awareness
  • Support Intro Classes and onboarding experiences
  • Continue skill development toward Reformer certification
  • Participate in feedback and coaching sessions
Requirements
  • Mat Pilates certification
  • Enrollment in or completion of Reformer Core training
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong anatomical awareness and safety focus
