Education Coordinator

Purpose: The Education Coordinator is an exemplary example of the Club Pilates brand and provides extra support as needed to the Regional Manager, Lead Instructors and greater Instructor base.
Qualifications:
  • Currently Employed for at least 3 years and in good standing with a Club Pilates Studio
  • Proof of a 450 hour comprehensive Pilates education
  • Proof of Club Pilates Bridge Training has been completed
  • Deep understanding and alignment with the Club Pilates methods
  • In depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates and what sets Club Pilates apart from other Pilates studios
  • Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment including Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience
  • Demonstrates anatomical knowledge and focus on safety
  • Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Training, Development and Support for Lead Instructors
    • Schedule Utilization Tracker:
      • Review monthly with Regional Manager for studio growth plans
      • Audit appropriate class types, levels and count for membership base
      • Provide coaching and feedback of class schedules to Lead Instructors
    • Assisting Lead Instructors in Instructor Mentorships
      • Meet one on one with instructors who require a mentorship based on instructor evaluations
      • Review and correct sequences for all class types and levels taught each week
      • Complete follow up evaluation one month after mentorship to monitor progress
    • Coach LIs to Host Workshops for Members
      • Work alongside of the Lead Instructors to choose content for one workshop per quarter for each studio
      • Assist in scheduling staff to teach workshops/assist in teaching workshops
  • Teacher Training Program
    • Promote Teacher Training within the community
    • Host Teacher Training Info Sessions
    • Discuss Apprenticeship requirements with the Teacher Trainees amp; Master Trainer
    • Test out teacher trainees prior to apprenticeship in a mock class setting
    • Mentorship of Apprentice Instructors
      • Review sequences weekly for all class types and levels until test out
      • Track training hours until completion of certification in the Trainee Tracker
      • Help them come up with a plan to test out by a specific date
  • Schedule all Continuing Education for Instructors 2x a year
    • Build relationship with CEC providers
    • Contact presenters for CEC scheduling
    • Choose workshops and promote to surrounding areas when open to the public
  • Attend recurring calls for your role:
    • Attend or lead Spartan Instructor meetings and quarterly trainings
    • Attend Club Pilates monthly Lead Instructor calls
    • Attend Spartan Regional Manager and Education Coordinator monthly call
    • Attend Spartan Leadership (GM/LI) monthly call
  • Other duties as assigned
