Job description

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager Apprentice to join a growing residential construction team. This is a paid apprenticeship designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career in residential construction and project management.

Working directly alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in every phase of the residential building process, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, customer communication, estimating, and project leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of their work.

Responsibilities
  • Visit active residential construction sites daily to monitor project progress.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

  • Pick up and deliver materials to job sites as needed.

  • Verify material deliveries and ensure crews have what they need.

  • Perform quality control inspections throughout construction.

  • Create and manage punch lists before project completion.

  • Take progress photos and maintain accurate project documentation.

  • Communicate project updates, schedules, and challenges with the office.

  • Assist with light construction tasks when necessary.

  • Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

  • Learn residential scheduling, budgeting, estimating, customer service, and project management.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Reliable truck or SUV suitable for construction sites.

  • Basic knowledge of residential construction is preferred but not required.

  • Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
