Job description

Finishing Operator II (2nd shift)
  • Location: Worcester, MA 01615
  • Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 2nd Shift: 2 pm to 10:30 pm 
  • Pay rate: 24$ per hour 
  • Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (temp to hire)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate complex CNC and computer-controlled finishing machines.

  • Perform grinding and finishing operations from initial shaping to final product.

  • Work to engineered specifications with high precision and close tolerances.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Technical school training or apprenticeship; minimum 4 months of CNC/finishing experience.

  • Skills: Proficient in blueprint reading, trade math, and dimensional layout/verification.

  • Physical: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (or >50 lbs with assistance).

  • Environment: Comfortable working in an industrial setting near moving parts with varying temperatures and noise (PPE required).
