This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working with a wide range of industrial machinery, including forklifts, construction equipment, and farm machinery. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will develop essential mechanical skills, learn to troubleshoot complex systems, and gain valuable knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a solid foundation in heavy equipment mechanics while contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing forklifts, cranes, excavators, and other heavy machinery using schematics and electrical diagnostics tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, and brake repairs on various equipment types.
  • Support fabrication and assembly activities for equipment repairs or modifications using power tools and welding techniques.
  • Learn to troubleshoot hydraulic systems, transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, and electrical systems on construction and industrial equipment.
