Job description

MasterPro is a rapidly expanding service provider partnering with national retailers across multiple states. We're launching our appliance installation operations in the Seattle market and seeking an experienced operations leader to build and manage our Washington presence.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; Monday as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Exempt
Reports To: CEO

The Role

We're looking for an Operations Manager with home services experience to lead our Seattle appliance installation operations. You'll manage technicians, maintain quality standards, handle compliance requirements, and grow the business. You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing installation technicians and field teams

  • Recruiting and managing licensed subcontractors and apprentices

  • Ensuring compliance with electrical and plumbing licensing requirements

  • Monitoring and maintaining quality of work across all installations

  • Managing and maintaining company vehicles and equipment

  • Logging apprentice hours and coordinating training

  • Visiting retail partner locations and client sites for quality assurance and relationship management

  • Contributing to financial planning and forecasting for the Seattle region

  • Drafting and managing subcontractor contracts and operational documents

  • Hands-on installation work, if you hold electrical or plumbing licenses

  • Expanding coverage to additional Washington State areas as the market grows

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in home services operations management or field leadership

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing compliance and licensing requirements in Washington State

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and develop field teams and subcontractors

  • Experience managing apprentices and coordinating training programs

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and forecasting

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Willingness to be hands-on when needed

Highly Desired

  • Washington State Journeyman Electrician License with 07D Certification

  • Experience drafting and managing subcontractor agreements and contracts

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $85,000 annually

  • Trade License Bonus: +$20,000 per year for each trade license held (Journeyman Plumber and/or Journeyman Electrician with 07D Certification)

  • 2% of every job performed by your team

  • 20% of every job you complete hands-on

  • 10% of revenue from new clients you bring to the company, first 6 months
