VVG is looking for an Apprentice-Level 1 Technician to join our team in Oxnard, CA!
What You'll Do:
Join us as an Apprentice! You'll be integral to our truck repair process, creating repair plans, ordering parts, and tagging warranty items. Daily, you'll update your Foreman on progress, maintain clean workspaces, and learn service operations through training and shadowing experienced technicians.
Job Duties:
  • Performs oil change
  • Performs diesel particulate filter cleaning
  • Performs brake inspections and works on brakes
  • Performs general maintenance of the service department including sweeping, cleaning and other maintenance tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completion of a technician training course or equivalent work knowledge required
  • High school diploma or the equivalent preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Positive attitude
  • Motivated

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check

Compensation:
  • $21-$23/hour (depending on skills and experience)
