BasicQualifications

'        High School Diploma or GED required.

'        3'5 years of maintenance experience inaerospace, heat treating, or heavy industrial environments.

'        Hands-on work with vacuum furnaces,atmosphere furnaces, ovens, and support equipment (vacuum pumps, chillers,quench tanks, gas systems).

'        Experience maintaining pyrometry systemsand performing temperature uniformity surveys (TUS) and system accuracy tests(SAT) per AMS 2750.

'        NADCAP heat treat compliance knowledge(AMS 2750).

'        AS9100.

'        Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space,forklift, manlift certifications.

'        Safety training in oxygen/fuel gashandling and high-pressure gas systems.

'        Strong troubleshooting and root-causeanalysis ability.

'        Ability to prioritize urgent breakdownsvs. planned PM.

'        Comfortable working off-shift oron-call during furnace downtime/repairs.

'        Communication skills for working withoperators, engineers, and QA.

'        Documentation accuracy ' all repairsand calibrations must meet aerospace audit requirements.

'        EPA Section 608 certification (ifworking with chillers/refrigerants) is a plus.

'        4 years maintaining Ipsen andMcLaughlin vacuum furnaces in aerospace.

'        Skilled in vacuum pump rebuilds,thermocouple calibration, TUS/SAT prep.

'        Familiar with AMS 2750, NADCAP audits,and pyrometry PMs.

'        Cross-trained in electrical,mechanical, and instrumentation repair.

Physical Requirements:

'        Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, workin tight/hot environments.

'        Comfortable around high voltage, hightemperature, and pressurized systems.

'        Use of PPE (respirators, face shields,insulated gear).

Position Overview:

We're hiring a Pyrometry Technician, 1st shift, to join our team! $35/hr plus eligibility for annual bonuses.

 

Key Responsibilities:

'         Electrical: troubleshooting motors, controls, sensors, relays, PLCs.

'         Performed Hydrogen Burnout on Vacuum Furnaces

'         Mechanical: bearings, seals, hydraulics, pneumatics, fans, pumps, gearboxes.

'         Vacuum systems: leak detection, valve rebuilds, vacuum pump rebuilds (rotary vane, booster, diffusion, cryo).

'         Instrumentation: calibration of thermocouples, pressure gauges, flowmeters.

'         Preventive Maintenance: following OEM schedules (Ipsen, HeatTech, McLaughlin, Solar, SECO/Warwick, Lindberg, etc.).

'         Welding/fabrication: basic TIG/MIG for hot zone or fixture repairs (preferred).

'         Reading schematics/blueprints and interpreting maintenance manuals.

CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) familiarity for work orders and PM tracking.
