Job description

Summary:
As an HVAC Apprentice working within the HomeTown System, you will be responsible for assisting with installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other equipment following manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installation projects from start to finish.
  • Assisting in installing and connecting ventilation equipment, including ductwork, vents, and piping.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations performed.
  • Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics/crawlspaces.
  • Sheet metal fabrication and installation are a plus.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a HVAC Installer Apprentice.
  • Proficient in performing mechanical installation and brazing tasks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
