WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Graphic Designer for Rio Las Vegas, you will play a supporting role in creating visually compelling materials that communicate with our guests, promote our resort's brand, and enhance the overall guest experience. You will be responsible for designing various print and digital assets, including advertisements, brochures, social media content, signage, promotional materials, and more.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for both print and digital
    media.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and uphold the resort's brand identity and ensure that all design work
  • aligns with the brand guidelines.
  • Marketing Collateral: Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and banners
    to promote resort venues, events, and special offers.
  • Digital Media: Design graphics for the resort's website, social media channels, email marketing, and
    online advertising campaigns.
  • Signage: Design and update signage for the resort, including wayfinding signs, room signage, and
    event banners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the advertising agencies and marketing team to understand project
    requirements, target audience, and marketing goals.
  • Print Production: Prepare and format files for print, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Trends and Innovation: Stay updated on design trends, software tools, and industry best practices
    to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the design process.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work.
  • Knowledge of digital design principles, UX/UI, and responsive design is a plus.

PREFERRED
  • Familiarity with production and print materials.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing assets, email design, and social media creative.
  • Experience maintaining brand consistency across multiple marketing channels.
  • Experience with email design.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
