Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic individual contributors for roles such as Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Cybersecurity experts. This program leverages the unique skills of veterans and military spouses, facilitating a smooth transition into civilian tech careers through hands-on experience in advanced technology fields.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Engineering: Develop and implement software solutions using a range of programming languages, including Java, Node.js, .NET, C++, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, iOS, and Android. Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality code and innovative features using eBay's architectures and Cloud Mesh Infrastructure.
  • Product Ownership: Define and execute product strategies, working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet objectives and user needs. Oversee product lifecycle from concept to launch, utilizing eBay's Connected Commerce Cloud (C3).
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Lead initiatives in red teaming, penetration testing, and Security Operations Center (SOC) operations. Formulate strategies to safeguard eBay's digital assets and ensure compliance, using eBay's security frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Background in software engineering, product management, or cybersecurity roles. Military tech experience is highly valued.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Military technical training is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Software Engineers: Expertise in eBay's programming languages and technology stacks; familiarity with SDKs for Java, .NET, and Python.
    • Product Owners: Understanding of product management, Agile methodologies, and eBay's development practices.
    • Cybersecurity Experts: Knowledge of red teaming, penetration testing, and SOC operations; familiarity with security tools.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$121,600 - $162,300
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
