John the Plumber is a family run operation that has been servicing our community for more than 40 years. With a family culture at its core, we have been able to provide a fantastic work environment with unlimited earning potential. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Plumber’s Helper to join our team. A Plumber’s Helper will act as a liaison, provide product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer face with accuracy and efficiency. We are seeking a person that is dedicated to assisting both our customers and senior plumbers. Our Plumber’s Helpers must be patient, empathetic and respectful to our clients at all times. We are seeking a person with strong problem-solving skills and is confident at troubleshooting issues to resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist expert plumbers in the areas of installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems. Type of work includes: fixtures, toilets, faucets, water heaters, soldering, and other common plumbing repairs
  • Assist expert plumbers with testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential homes
  • Handling customer queries, assist with troubleshooting/resolving problems, responding to call-outs, and preparing cost estimates
  • Assist with sewer and drain clearing/cleaning experience
  • Good communication and listening skills

Qualifications:

  • 0-1 year of prior experience (WE WILL TRAIN)
  • Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal driven environment
  • Excellent organization, planning, and follow-through abilities
  • Takes great pride in going the extra mile for our customers
