Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm (flexibility required for after-hours or weekend support)

Position Overview: The HVAC and Plumbing Service Field Supervisor provides field oversight, providing technical support and mentoring to service technicians. The position plays a critical role in supporting technician development, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role is responsible for developing and implementing the company's service and technical standards, ensuring that technicians stay current on new codes and industry standards, and providing continual training to foster technical growth. The position also focuses on safety, quality assurance, and reducing callbacks, while collaborating with service leadership to enhance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide guidance and technical support to service technicians.
  • Open shop for technicians after hours as needed.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and jobsite inspections.
  • Provide on-call technical support and assist with escalated service issues.
  • Mentor and coach apprentices and new technicians, providing hands-on training and guidance to develop skills and ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Mentor team members through technical and professional development milestones.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and certifications for team members.
  • Review & analyze callback data with Service & Maintenance Manager as required.
  • Investigate warranty claims and trends, providing recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in HVAC service
  • 4 years of experience in plumbing service
  • Leadership or technical training roles preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, tools, installation processes, and codes
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train
  • Certification in OSHA standards and other relevant safety programs
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar service software
  • NATE Certification (Core, AC Install, Air Distribution, Gas Heat) or similar credentials desired, we train
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
