JOB TITLE:ย Fuel Cell Sealer
LOCATION: Renton, WA
PAY RATE: $44-47/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Overtime: Not guaranteed (based on production workload)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:ย 

  • Perform fuel cell sealing operations, including:

    • Fillet and fay sealing

    • Cap sealing

    • Brush coating

    • Aerodynamic sealing

  • Apply sealing compounds to fuel cells and related wing section components

  • Apply Scotchcast, leveling compounds, and aerodynamic sealants

  • Perform pressure testing and sealing validation

  • Work from engineering drawings, work orders, specifications, and process documentation

  • Complete required data entry and documentation for sealing operations

  • Perform rework, fabrication adjustments, and change incorporation as needed

  • Use precision measuring tools and instruments to complete work assignments

  • Identify and report production issues such as tooling errors, process issues, or sequence problems

  • Support production flow by training, coaching, and assisting other team members

  • Document discrepancies according to company quality and process standards

  • Temporarily attach parts or assemblies and install hardware such as collars when required

Requirements:

  • Experience performing fuel cell sealing or aircraft structure sealing

  • Experience with major assemblies or large structural sealing

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • Ability to work any shift as required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
