THE STRAND HOUSE IS LOOKING FOR A EXPO/RUNNER TO JOIN OUR TEAM!

WHAT YOU WILL DO...


Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift

Maintain cleanliness

Work diligently in a timely manner

Set and reset dining area

Complete opening and closing duties

Effective communication with all FOH staff

Assist servers with table maintenance

Cultivate positive working relationships with others

Make sure server stations remains stocked accordingly

Greet guests with a smile and thank them for coming upon exit

Contribute to team effort. Being a team player above all is mandatory!

Collaborate with kitchen staff to present food professionally/check orders for accuracy

Deliver food to the proper table in a timely fashion and take additional orders when necessary

Clear dirty plates and silverware

Perform any task necessary to provide high quality customer experience, including explaining menu items to customers

Support both servers and kitchen staff

Greet guests with a smile and thank them for coming upon exit

Contribute to team effort. Being a team player above all is mandatory!

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF...


A minimum 2 years of expo, food runner and restaurant experience in a fast pace fine dining restaurant while providing

Must be able to expedite orders, attend to customers' needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the desires of the customers at all times

Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal

Maintain a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills

Adaptable and are able to thrive in a team environment

Ability to shift gears quickly and multitask

Handle pressure with ease

Come to work in dress code and stay well groomed

Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant with expo and food runner knowledge

High school diploma
