2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm Differential of 10%!

SCA Pharma is an FDA 503B outsourcing facility providing customized medications for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. Summary:
The IV Compounding Apprentice Level I is responsible for assisting with the preparation of sterile pharmaceutical products and associated documentation in a highly controlled, regulated environment. The IV Compounding Apprentice Level I will undergo a stringent training program to become qualified to work in critical aseptic environment inside ISO 7 and ISO 8 work environments.
Essential functions:
  • Train to assist with preparation of IV admixtures per client order, as well as batch compounding of routine items.
  • Document work performed at multiple stages in the process.
  • Participate and assist with line clearance activities.
  • Identify, communicate, and solve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met.
  • Label, package, and document per written instructions
  • Count materials/product to ensure accurate counts and accountability.
  • Replenish materials to areas/work cells as directed by Group Leader.
  • Assist with inventory and inventory management in classified spaces.

Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to undergo thorough training curriculum on gowning, , FDA cGMP-503B regulations, and internal SOP's.
  • Able to don sterile garments, to include a respirator each day, and ensure cleanroom areas and related equipment are cleaned and maintained per organization's procedures (80% - 100% of daily activities occur in cleanroom)
  • Must have strong discipline and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly.
  • Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment
  • Strenuous work involving constant bending down, squatting, stretching and general agility.
  • Use of hands and fingers to manipulate equipment is required.
  • Ability to pass eye examination and continue or begin wearing corrective lenses during work.
  • Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for over 7 hours per day.
  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
