Apprentice Electrician – Commercial Construction

Location: Sterling, Virginia
Project Type: Commercial Building Construction
Position: Registered Apprentice Electrician


Talent Corps is seeking registered Apprentice Electricians for a commercial building project in Sterling, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for apprentices looking to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians on a commercial construction site.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeyman Electricians with commercial electrical installations
  • Pull and terminate wire and cable
  • Install and support electrical conduit
  • Install electrical boxes, fixtures, devices, and equipment
  • Assist with rough-in and finish electrical work
  • Read and follow basic electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all job-site safety requirements and instructions
  • Perform general electrical construction tasks as directed

Requirements

  • Registered electrical apprentice
  • Currently enrolled
  • Basic understanding of electrical tools and construction practices
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
  • Reliable transportation to the job site
  • Full PPE and basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and work ethic
