Role Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Foreman to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead electrical crews, including Foremen, Lead Hands, and field employees.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule daily work activities to meet project timelines and requirements.
  • Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, and modifications in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and applicable codes.
  • Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, subcontractors, and resources required to complete work efficiently.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance support to team members while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Perform quality checks, address deficiencies, and ensure work is completed to project standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues and improve productivity.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
  • H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020, WHMIS, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training, High Voltage & Low Voltage Safety Training, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Work Platform Certification, Arc Flash Training, PLC/Industrial Controls Training.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to plan work, coordinate materials, and complete projects safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, production, engineering, and field teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
