Job description

AirReps, a division of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, a leader in HVAC solutions that are clean, comfortable and efficient, is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our ITG Journeyman in Spokane, Washington. AirReps’ expertise and passion for people are our biggest talents. Support the service group and sales staff. Perform startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products including but not limited to Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD’s AHU’s, RTU’s, Chiller’s ETC.

Position Responsibilities may include:

  • Startup, commissioning and servicing for Daikin VRV systems.
  • HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit.
  • Startup, commissioning of HVAC products including but not limited to: Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers.
  • Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling.
  • Safety is a priority - Must work in a safe manner. ensure that personal safety is your responsibility.
  • Assist with required start-up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner. (Clean driving record)
  • Work schedule includes Monday thru Friday and the flexibility to work overtime & weekends as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope:

  • Self-motivated and creative problem-solving skills,
  • The ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Team Player with mentoring faculties

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Computer skills strongly recommended for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs / tools.

Experience:

  • Assessment test may be necessary DOE
  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Certification from an accredited HVAC Trade School or Journeyman card from an approved apprenticeship
  • Washington State L&I O6A Journeyman Electrical license
  • EPA 608 Universal License
  • OSHA 30 (desired)
  • CPR

People Management: No

Physical Requirements / Working Environment:

  • The ability to lift over 75 pounds.
  • Work environment is often in extreme conditions. Inside/outside, on lifts, ladders, etc.

Pay Range: $68.43 + union benefits (Local 32) Subject to UA 32 pay schedule
