Job description

We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machine tools to manufacture and repair critical aerospace components. This is precision work where quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship matter.

Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends)
Hours: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
Shift Differential: $2-$4/hour based on assigned workdays
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
  • Manufacture and repair precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, pi tapes, and other precision measuring tools
  • Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
  • Perform complex machine setups with minimal supervision
  • Complete required inspection and production documentation
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and safely operate overhead cranes
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
